Imaging Benchmark Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Imaging Benchmark collects, how we use and store it, and your choices. Imaging Benchmark is a business tool for healthcare organizations, imaging centers, radiology groups, vendors, and consultants; it is not intended for personal, household, or consumer use.
Information We Collect
Account details. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password, and your name, organization, account type (your role), and facility type. Your password is sent over an encrypted connection and stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider; Imaging Benchmark does not keep your raw password. If you sign in with “Continue with Google,” we receive a standard Google sign-in identity instead of a password. We also record which version of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy you accepted, and when.
FastFit and Advanced Operational Profile inputs. If you choose to fill out a FastFit Profile or an Advanced Operational Profile, we store the facility-level operational and financial details you enter. These are optional and you control what you provide. They are facility-level business inputs, for example your facility type, billing model, and location, the imaging modalities you operate, and revenue and demand context (FastFit); and operational details such as demand, scanner utilization, technologist and radiologist staffing, workflow complexity, and payer mix (Advanced Operational Profile). They are never patient-level data, and the exact questions may change as we finalize these profiles.
No Patient Information or PHI
Imaging Benchmark is designed for facility-level, operational, financial, product, and benchmarking information only. Please do not submit patient-identifiable information or protected health information (PHI), for example patient names, dates of birth, medical record or accession numbers, images, or reports.
We do not ask for patient information anywhere on the platform, and the free-text fields in the FastFit and Advanced Operational Profiles are built to reject content that looks like a patient identifier (such as a medical record number, Social Security number, or date of birth) before it is saved. If you believe patient information was submitted by mistake, let us know promptly using the contact details below so we can review and remove it.
Cookies and Analytics
Imaging Benchmark currently uses only essential cookies required for the platform to work, keeping you signed in and protecting the security of your session. We also store a small acknowledgement in your browser so the cookie notice does not reappear on every visit.
We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking, and we do not sell your information. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and handle any consent that is required before turning it on.
How We Use Your Information
We use your account details to create and secure your account, to sign you in, and to send you account-related email such as email-address confirmation and password resets.
We use the operational and financial information you submit to operate the platform and to power its benchmarking and estimate features. Some of those features, such as your personalized value ranges, are still being finalized; we store your inputs so they can produce results as the features become available.
Where Your Information Is Stored (Service Providers)
We host the platform and store your data with a small number of third-party providers that process information on our behalf:
- Supabase, our database and authentication provider, which stores your account credentials and your profile, FastFit, and Advanced Operational Profile data.
- Vercel, our hosting provider, which runs and serves the application.
- Resend, our email provider, which delivers account email such as confirmation and password-reset messages.
- Google, only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in, in which case Google handles that sign-in.
These providers are bound to use your information only to provide their services to Imaging Benchmark.
Keeping and Deleting Your Information
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can stop using Imaging Benchmark at any time.
You can permanently delete your account yourself from your account settings (you confirm by typing “DELETE”). When you do, we hard-delete your account, and your profile and your FastFit, Advanced Operational Profile, and any saved calculation results are erased along with it.
Two narrow, non-identifying records are kept by design: a deletion log entry containing an internal account identifier, the date, and a reason (for example, self-service); and an anonymized record that the account had accepted the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which version, and when, together with a one-way, salted hash of the email address (not the email itself, and not reversible) kept as proof of consent. Neither record contains your name, your email, or the information you submitted.
How We Protect Your Information
Access to your profile data is restricted to your own account: one user cannot view or edit another user’s data. Information is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and the privileged keys used by our servers are never exposed to the browser.
No platform can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you entrust to us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform develops. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated policy on the platform or asking you to review and accept it through the account interface.
